Dr Sharan Dhaliwal

General Practitioner. University of Newcastle. MBBS, MRCGP

Dr Dhaliwal is a British born Indian origin GP based in Nottingham. She is able to converse in several South Asian languages and qualified from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne as a medical doctor. She completed her foundation training in the West Midlands and returned to the East Midlands for GP training and has been working as a GP partner for 10 years and has also done locum work for local practices.

She is Fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali and Chinese

Dr Sarpreet Mehat

(University of Nottingham) BMed Sci (Hons), BMBS.

Dr Mehat is a Hospital Doctor who graduated from Nottingham University. He completed a BMed Sci in Immunology and then completed a Medical degree at the Queens Medical Centre.

He has had the great privilege of playing Hockey for his Country at International level for both Great Britain and England. In addition, during his years at Medical School he had the proud honour of being Captain for the first team at Nottingham University for 5 years as well as captaining both English Universities and Great Britain Universities.

Dr Mehat trained after graduating as a Doctor at Derby Royal Infirmary, Grantham Hospital, Frimley Park Hospital, St Helier Hospital (States of Jersey) and Queens Medical Centre.
He is multilingual in various Southern languages.

Both his Wife and Father are also Doctors and his Brother is currently at Medical School in his third year.

Representing his Country at International level has taught Dr Mehat the importance of combining his Sporting Life with My Academic career.
